Anyone of you having very low FPS with AC Revelations?

Here is the default graphics setting

    Resolution: 1366x768, 60Hz
    Multisampling: 2X
    Vsync: On
    Environmental Quality: 4
    Texture Quality: 3
    Shadow Quality: 3
    Reflective Quality: Medium
    Character Quality: 3
    Post Effects: On
    Nvidia 3D Vision: Normal Sky

    Inside: 30 FPS
    Outside: 10 FPS
    Average FPS of 23-26

I don't know what is wrong with AC.
I am playing MW3 all in ultra (no overclocking) and my FPS is not going below 40 FPS even outside.

It should be running at max setting just fine. I will test it out on my wifes M14x as soon as im done traveling back home from Afghanistan. But it runs perfect on my M11xR3 maxxed! But im also not allowed to tell you what kind of copy it is cause of the rules.

I am running ACR on a monitor at 1080p at medium setting without any problems. I would suggest you make sure that its running on the gt555m gpu and not the intel one. When I started running NFS Run, it ran at 4 to 8 fps. I realise that it was running on the intel gpu and not the nvidia gpu. change the settings and it worked like a charm.

Nvidia presets ACR to run at GT 555M. Even though I lower the graphics settings I still get low FPS

I am not sure then. There must be something else causing the problem then. I am using the latest drivers from the nvidia site rather than the dell site.

Works like a charm! :D Thanks! I downgraded my driver and turned off my turbo boost. Now my FPS does not go below 40.

Can you explain why do we need to turn off turbo boost? I just curious.

The turbo boost is unrelated, really. It does not add much performance in games because of the graphics card bottleneck, and it generates a lot of heat, so I turned it off to reduce temperatures. It has nothing to do with Revelations specifically.

Which of those fixed your problem? Downgrading the driver, or disabling turbo? Have you tried driver 290.36 Verde?

Both, I just disabled turbo and downgraded to 285.62 from 290.36. and the game is now running smooth! :D I will try to update my driver to 290.36 and run it!

I thought you were using 285.79 before.

ACR is more stable in 285.62 rather than in 290.36 the after 5mins of playing the FPS problem comes out again not like when using 285.62 I played almost 2 hrs and yet no problem at all.

That's really strange, I run 40FPS on maxed out settings and x4 AA overclocked while 35FPS on stock..You should be able to handle it without any issues..

Perhaps it's CPU throttling. I have this problem with my M14x - CPU temps reach ~97 degrees, the CPU is throttled down to 1280 Mhz, decreasing the overall gaming performance. My framerate can drop from butter-smooth to choppy slideshows pretty easily due to the throttling.

Try monitoring your CPU temperature and clock speed while gaming, with monitoring app in the background. If you have this problem, it may be a good idea to either repaste the internals, or open it up and clean up any dust.
