    Hi,

I'd like to consider myself to somewhat know a good bit about computers but obviously not enough.

For some reason, my wifi just randomly stopped working and when plugging in an Ethernet cord it no longer lights up on the side .Right now I'm on an other laptop using the same wifi I was trying to connect to (my M14X won't connect anywhere.) It says it has full signal and internet access and yet is still not working.

I really need to get this computer working to finish some video editing and get it online as soon as possible - so it's pretty urgent! Here are the only screenshots I could image to take.

Try uninstalling and re-install the drivers for the Intel wireless card. Let us know what happens.

Have you tried to right click the wireless icon and select "Troubleshoot problems"?

Re-Download the Wired drivers, and install them on the M14x. The lights SHOULD light up with a cable, you may have bigger issues if they don't.

If you have connectify installed, then uninstall it. That has worked on several people now who have sudden internet connection issues, including myself. If that's not the case then most likely drivers but you will have to get those from the resource DVD since you can not connect to the internet.
