    Alienware Bluetooth Driver

    After reinstalling Windows 7, I couldn't find the driver on the resource CD or online at the dell website for the m14x. Windows installs a default driver, but if you want the correct one, here is a link to it:

    It is listed as a Dell 375 Bluetooth device.

    nope less bloat that is all the stock driver works amazingly well with my razer orachi

    The dell driver doesn't include anything extra, and may actually provide better compatibility. Not sure though, as it is subjective and I have nothing to prove any difference between the two

    You can use the default which will probably be fine, but if you want to be sure you are running the correct driver built for the hardware, then choose this.

    I spent quite a while trying to get a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse working with the default drivers with no luck. It would see the mouse, but would not load any drivers, so it just stayed stuck in pairing mode.

    The Dell drivers worked perfect first time, thanks for this tip !

    I just spent about a week (off and on) trying to get a set of bluetooth headphones to work with the M14X. Apparently Microsoft changed the bluetooth stack provided in Win7 from the one that was provided with Vista.

    Anyway, in order to get the A2DP protocol installed, which you need for transferring sound over bluetooth, you have to go into device manger, uninstall all bluetooth devices, install the 3rd party software (link below), then scan for hardware changes inside Device Manager, and Windows should pick up the new drivers when it install's your device.

    It says "Anycom USB", but installs a BT stack.

    Yep, after that's installed, when you sync to your headset, it should install drivers and give you the option to use the connected device for audio.
