    Hi,

To new M14x owners: the little alien eyes on the alienhead logo on the back of the screen light up during operation don't they? If they do, is there a way to turn it off? If I'm sitting in a dark lecture room, the person at the front is going to notice 2 little lights and I'd probably want to keep it a bit more low-key.

Good unboxing vid/ screen shots of the M14x for those who don't have it yet. YouTube - Dell Alienware M14x Unboxing

I think it uses the LCD backlighting, so you can't turn it off.

Lean a folder against it? I wouldn't worry too much; Mac users have that glowing apple and it isn't a problem.

I didn't know that :) I might just cover it up with some tape.

Don't hide it. Be proud you are an owner of a niche exclusive product most people can only dream of owning.
