    AlienRespawn Won't Take DVD+R

    I decided it was a good idea to make my AlienRespawn recovery discs today but it doesn't want to take the brand new pack of DVD+R I bought at Best Buy. I put a disc in when it asks for it, it will spin up for about 10 seconds then stops spinning and the drive spits it out.

    Do I really have to go try to return these DVD's? If I do, any suggestions on what media to get?

    I got Memorex DVD+R, 16x, 4.7gb.

    mines working fine with hp's dvd+r.. however it doesn't work with dvd RW the first time i tried..

    Mine also doesn't work. Using Sony dvd-r or dvd-rw. Gonna just use a Usb next.

    I tried it again last night for s's and g's and the first disc started burning without a hitch. Then the second disc wouldn't read. Put the blank back in literally 20+ times and it eventually started burning. Should have just bought Acronis.
