Anyone has this problem? The Problem is that the lighting on the Keyboard, the Alienware Logo, the T-Pad, and the grill just turn off and will NOT turn on unless I go to the AlienFX Editor and open a save file and click apply.

For WMP it will come back on after 5-10sec, but for Winamp and iTune, it wont, What is the cause of this? Does anybody here has this problem as me? Can anyone here give me suggestion?

Because it start to annoy me now, as on the first day i start iTune and have the AlienFX on using the visualisation, and IF I just click on the close program button, the AlienFX will also turn off and sometime even I dont have the visualisation on, it still shut down with iTune and will NOT restart unless I did what I have stated above.

I've found that AlienFX is pretty damn buggy, it goes out on me all the time when I load up something that uses the lights.

You can just right click on the task tray icon, choose go dark, then right click again and go light.

The cause of this problem is iTunes (or whatever) is hooking into the controls for the lights, and when you close iTunes, it's not releasing the controls back to AlienFX properly. You can try choosing File>Exit out of iTunes, see if that helps.

Or you can disable the access to AlienFX from other programs right clicking on the AlienFX logo in the taskbar e selecting the relevant option. ;)
