My Mq14x AlienFX would sometimes "Go dark" by itself, weird! Upon bootup it takes a few seconds to "Go Light" and then turn off after a few mins. and I've to manually turn it on/"Go Light". This happens most of the time after clean boot; but not always!

I reinstalled Command Center v2.6.8.0, changed the themes, etc. but it didn't fix the problem. Any suggestions?

BTW is the search on this forum working? I try searching for AlienFX but got "No match"...

is there something to do with your power option.. cause as i remembered one of the option turn off ur alienfx when it's on battery or whenever it's selected... check them out..

if i have power saving mode on it will turn off by default.. thou it was on when boot (no option loaded yet so its on)

In my case it only does when I run iTune/WMP (In the visualization mode only) and then it will auto restart back or when I'm on battery.

It only happens to me when I leave it off before I turn off the computer.

Found the option in AlienFusion under "Additional Settings".
