    Hi everyone,

I got my m14x about 3 months ago, love that machine.
However I´ve opened the AlienAutopsy program today to do some checks but before than, it asked me to install some updates so I´ve confirmed it. There were couple weird errors during the installation of updates - I´ve clicked on "ignore" (maybe I shouldn´t  ). Once the installation was complete, the AlienAutopsy closed itself. I tried to reopen it but when I do so, it just says "license authentication failed, this version of autopsy is not licensed to run on this system"... ? It´s been three months since completely new so I don´t really think that any of my licenses has expired... What can I do now?

    Thanks!

I can't find alienautopsy anywhere on my system, I've looked for it a few months ago too. I don't see it in the alienware folder, can you tell me where it is and i'll see how mine runs?

Err, Sorry if this sound weird, but what is this "AlienAutopsy" program? Because I've never heard or seen it in my M14x either, is it a new program?

Wow really? Well it might be a completely new program but since this is my first Alienware, I wouldn´t really know :D

It´s a program that regularly (or on a request) checks all the hardware in your computer and tells you it´s condition. It also manages backup and recovery processes. It might do more things...

The best way how to find it is to type AlienAutopsy into "search" column :D or go to your Hard Drive (C), Program Files and there should be a folder called AlienAutopsy. (works on my laptop)

Can you restore your computer to an earlier time? I wonder if that might help.
