    Soooo..

I added a MyDigitalSSD 128GB BP3 Bullet Proof 3 mSATA III this weekend to my mx14r2. Drive is amazing and it went very very smooth. I did a clean install to it and now have the OS, Office, and WOW running off the SSD with about 70GB still free.

Problem is, after even a full format, the computer still asks is if I want to boot from the original HD. When I boot up I get a menu with the 2 drives. I just hit enter and it boots to the SSD but weird part is you can'
t boot to the second as there is no OS on it.

Anyone have any idea how to get rid of this menu when the computer boots up so it just automatically goes to the SSD?

Oh, and if anyone is wondering...best upgrade ever!

    thanks in advance,
    Doug

    Hi Doug,

Did you delete the partition of your previous Windows Installation?

If you can't remember, follow this guide until step 5, then make sure you only have your current OS partition and the 100mb system reserve.

If you're looking for the easiest solution you can go to Control Panel->System and Security->System and hit the Advanced System Settings button. Go to the advanced tab and click the Startup and Recovery button. Unclick Time to display List of Operating Systems and make sure that the correct Windows Install is the default in the dropdown.

SSDs are great aren't they? I have a 256MB ADATA SX300 (basically the same drive as yours) in mine and it boots in less than 15 seconds (Windows 8 helps too).
