I have discovered that ASPM is disabled on my system after doing a fresh install of windows (using dell's driver install order) and have a feeling this may be causing my power loss issues during sleep mode. I could really use some help. Could a few of you guys confirm or deny whether ASPM is active on your system, or if this problem is exclusive to my system? From an elevated CMD run "powercfg energy". Once complete open C:\windows\system32\energy-report.html and search for "ASPM". If it is disabled its section will be in red. Please include whether you are testing from a system with a factory image or a fresh win7 install. Thank you in advance for your support.

Thank you for your contribution. Hopefully someone running a factory image will participate so I can possibly get to the bottom of this. Do you happen to have any sleep problems? Shutdown at sleep, blank screen at wake-up, shutdown at wake-up?

Hi, ASPM is also disabled for my fresh W7 install. No problems with sleep or hibernation. A quick search on ASPM showed that its not unique to this notebook, so maybe its a windows thing?

Yes, I realized it was not a problem (if it is a problem) unique to this system. I'm just trying to rule out anything that could be possibly related to my sleep issues.
