From what I saw their Description

    Dell Part# : 330-5830

    Manufacturer Part# : R940P

    Watt#: 150 Watt.

They look the same , just price differences.

Please wait 24 hours before bumping your own thread. Help will come eventually.

Yes, it should work in the US.

A lot of power supplies you see for good prices are generally genuine - they've most likely been made redundant from wholesale business upgrades where the machines have been broken down for better mark-up.

Anyway, important point here (having worked in an Electrical shop when I was a teenager). Match your voltage and meet your current, and don't you ever mess with your polarity! If you can figure out these three golden rules, you'll save yourself thousands in a lifetime on PSUs (and I'm not just talking notebooks here guys).

Save yourself thousands, plus get a pat on the back from me.

Hi, sorry for bringing up this thread again. I would like to ask if a charger that has the same specs, even if it's a different model, can be used for the m14x.

    thanks.

Only if it has the correct connector to plug into the back of the laptop.

I looked for chargers in nearby shops . Most of them were in shock after i said I was looking for a 150w adapter. anyways I wasn't able to find a 150w model and this was the closest one i got.

    Amazon.com: AC Power Adapter for Dell pa 13 PA 1131-02D2 INSPIRON 5150 5160 X7329: Computers & Accessories
    Actual specs: input:11-240v 2.5A 50-60hz output:19.5v 6.7A 130w
*I counld not find the charger polarity

I also have a 90w adapter in the office simillar to this
    Amazon.com: AC Adapter/Power Supply Cord for Dell la90ps0-0 LA65NS00 310-8363 CF823 CF825 HP0Q065B83 T7423 kc529 la65ns la65nso-00 la90ps1-00: Computers & Accessories
    actual specs: input: 100-240v 1.5A 50-60Hz output: 19.5v 4.62A 90w -c+

They both fit the laptop at the back.

Would it be safe to use these adapters and would they be able to sustain gaming? Thanks.
