hey guys.. i know there are threads about this but I have an issue with the A05 bios. My fan never turns off.. it turns on at 55 degrees which is fine. But it stays on even when the laptop goes down to 45 degrees. I tried going back to A03 and the fan control did not change back to the way it was. With A03 it used to turn on at like 60 degrees, with higher fan speed for like 3 seconds then turn back off at 50. Any ideas on how to get my old fan speeds back from A03? Reverting the bios doesnt seem to work :( Any help would be amazing with this :) To turn the fan off with a05 i have to use hwmonitor 64 beta and click the system auto button then it turns back off like normal. Then turns on again at 55 degrees and stays on. :(

EDIT: returned back to factory settings and OS. CPU will drop down to 43ish degrees but fan still doesnt shut off :(

It say on, but with the A05, it will just lower the fan speed to reduce noise, which A03 lack of, because of A03 does not reduce the fan speed, meaning everytime it on, it will sound very noisy.

And I personally like the A05 because since it stay on but at a lower speed, mean your hardware will stay cool at all time, while the A03 I think it will turn on when the hardware getting hot and need to cool it off, so that I think you will experience more heat build up because of the fan not constantly cool the hardware.

reflash A05. then power off you machine. completely.

on a thinkpad i would say remove the battery and hold the power button for few secs..

but in this case just go into bios and restore the factory defaults. this might propably help.

hey thanks for the responses guys.. @CGSDR the fan's noise is noticeable, i am a college student and you can tell where the noise is coming from. A video can be posted if you guys want to see :)
@alroar gave all those a try and still does the same thing.... Fan never shuts off unless i manually hit system auto in HWinfo64 ,.. then turns on at 55 degrees again while browsing and never turns off. Laptop can feel cold and fan still runs :(
