    5.1 outputs wont work?

    hey guys so in windows 7 i setup my output for 5.1 and did that through the realtek output too.. yet i only get output through front 2 channels .. no center no sub and no rear :S this was working before.. any ideas?

    EDIT: nvm got it to work :)

    Can you help me out? I don't actually see that I have 5 speakers. I can hear the two up along the power button/alien head and the one under the touchpad on the bottom side. Are these the only speakers on the M14x? How do I turn on the rest like you said. Where are the other 2 front speakers? Thanks. joey

    Erm... I think he means an external 5.1 system. The M14x only has an integrated 2.1 sound system; two speakers above the keyboard and a subwoofer on the bottom.

    yea.. i ment the 5.1 audio outputs.. the laptop itself only has 2 speakers and 1 sub.. but also the sub isnt really a sub channel.. its just mixed in with the other 2.. :)

    HOW DID U make it to work!?? i have SOUND BLASTER but i can only make 4 channels to work! just front and rear, no center/sub :s
