    hey, i havent got my m14x but im trying to see if i will be able to output 5.1 audio from the m14x

    Is there a way i could output 5.1 audio via cables, ??

    As, the m14x have 3 ports,

    or waht sound card have 5.1 analog output,

    ive seen the creative soundblaster x-fi PRO but dont realy get it,

    just from what i have read the 3 3.5mm jacks can be reconfigured to output 5.1 channel surround sound. i think it may be in the control panel, or it might be accessed from the sound icon in the bottom corner.

    I can confirm that stateman over, I already tried it myself - To get 5.1 I actually only needed to use two - green and black and the oransje got used to my dedicated mic.

    From what I've heard, you can use the HDMI-out port to hook it up - no real experience with this but maybe something you can look into if you're interested.

    HDMI outputs the 5.1 surround sound, but that's intended to go to a home theatre receiver/decoder, or your TV (to pass through). You can't go from HDMI to standard audio cables to get 5.1 surround sound.

    works like a charm with the 3,5" connectors. using it as default.

    only downside is, you cant plug in another mic. only internal or usb will help.
