Getting my M14x tomorrow from a local store and they only offered 32GB caching SSD + 750GB 7200rpm HDD as storage.
I'm thinking of upgrading right away to 256GB SSD? Is it worth the price for the difference in performance?
Also, can I make use of the existing 32GB SSD with the new bigger SSD?

I just got my yesterday and immediately put in a 256 Crucial M4 SSD. Love it. -
If you decide to upgrade to the 256GB SSD, it would eliminate the need for the mSATA caching drive. I would not recommend using the mSATA drive as a caching drive at all if you get the SSD, it may actually negatively impact the performance of the SSD.
Stating the obvious here, but you will also lose a significant chunk of storage space. So you really have to ask yourself if the loss in storage would be worth the increased speeds.
32GB caching SSD + 256GB SSD?
