    go to start...
    then type computer management....
choose the disk management tab from the left...
you will see all the partitions...
i believe the missing gigs are in an extra partition called recovery....
    you can check and see....

    Cheers...

    IMPORTANT:

I remember deleting recovery partition on my factory (500Gb) hard disk before I bought an SSD, and after I did it, I could not boot into Win7, apparently Dell (maybe???) puts some boot files on the recovery partition. Repairing my start-up also did not work. So, I had to do clean install Win7 following this link:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...er-install-order-guide-alienware-systems.html

If you still willing to risk Win7 not starting up, do the following:

In computer management (your pic) right mouse click on the recovery partition and select Delete volume, then right click on c: partition and select Extend volume. This will give you full 111Gb. Maybe my Win7 start-up issues after deleting my recovery partition was a rare case.

At the end, I would recommend keeping the recovery partition on your stock HDD (if you have it). And, clean Win7 install just gives your system the extra space (no recovery partition), plus the link I provided will give you Alienware look just as if you installed from alien respawn.

Good luck and have a nice weekend.

how do you expect recovery partition to work without it being called first just to call the main partition... i suggest you leave it alone since you still have a lot of free space... but if you insist try to do that through alien respawn first... i never actually worked with it so i dont know exactly how.... but good luck...

It maybe went to shadow storage. type in vssadmin list shadowstorage in an elevated cmd prompt. It'll show you how much is in there. On one of my computers, it was 60 gb lol. Its a totally useless waste of space. You can look on google easily for the command to resize it.

EDIT: Here's an example; vssadmin resize shadowstorage /For=C: /On=C: /MaxSize=6GB
Just copy and paste with the max value, mine is 1 gb
