Just got my m14x Motherboard and cpu replaced..Had the 7 beeps and black screen problem.
It has the A03 bios version, that ok? (The Bios version before was A06, but newest was A05, confusing...)
I forgot to ask if he did a new thermal paste..how will i know if he did or not, will it catch on fire and burn?

I was wanting to check the video driver version, to see if I needed an update, but noticed I had two in display properties, Intel HD Graphics Family and Nvidia GT 555M. Is this normal to have two of them? they can co-exist? Or do I uninstall the Intel Graphics, through Bios too?

It won't catch on fire and burn, it would be noticeably hot long before that (you'd know if there was no thermal paste, believe me).

And yes, there are two. The laptop switches between the two based on what is needed. If you uninstalled the Intel one, nothing would display (the NVIDIA one is only used for gaming, by default. All other displays are using the Intel graphics).

    It's called Optimus technology.

    you mean opti-mess technology? :p

on a more serious note, sometimes optimus won't recognize games and won't activate the nvidia GPU. To fix this just use the guide in my sig :)
