Dont know wat happenes to my 14x r1..I tried to install 5 difference verison of drivers and did everythin I could ..It still doesnt give me an decent fraps when i was playing bf3!, and its all at low settings..Sometimes, the fraps can jump up to 50 and then it drops back to 22-29 at next minute and it happenes in every 5 seconds..I did turn on the high performance graphic card in the nvidia pannel and it still doesnt work..the frap drops even when i start to play the game when the temperature was not exactly high..
    someone pls help me...~~~~

i had a m14x and returned it, because it would not run bf3 stable. alienware help deak were great buy they were not able to upgrade the drivers, which really sucked. I ended up getting a hp dv6qte. I know its not the answer your looking for or comment. I would sell it if its a gaming rig and bf3 is your main game like me.

1)You were gaming on which power profile? battery saver/balanced/high performance?
    2) try to whitelist all bf3 related exe files. including origin .

Odd. I have an M14x R1, I can run it on the high preset (with a little overclock) just fine. I'm not sure what your problem is. But as the poster above me said, make sure everything is whitelisted. Perhaps some game files can be corrupted as well. Try re-installing it.

How is the performance on any other games? Can you give us any info like that?

Thx for ur comments..It runs fine with singer player but not in mulitiplayers..somehow i managed to fix the frap now but its still a bit lag when i was playing a small map where u can see dirt and bullet effects all over the screen..I think thats the limits of gt555m graphics card..
by the way, i dont know how to overlock the graphics card..

wats the graphics card in hp dv6? is it 6770?
i even lower my resolution down to 1156x720 in multiplayer and it was still a bit lag..
I should get the 18x...because i like the metal cover..
