I bought 2x2gb kingston 677 mhz memory and install them both. What happened I could reach the bios, and then restart and saw perhaps 10 seconds start up of windows profesional and then I had no screen.

Then i took out one new 2 gb card, and installed the old acer 500 mb, and now windows start up and is working fine with 2,5 gb.. But I want the full 3,2possible aloud xp. How can I do that or is it impossible?

ANother problem there is an internal 3945 abg Lan card, mini pci with 2 external cable connections. had problems so I thougt replace but someone told me, that I could change this card for the new 4965agn and thought I have an N router and full speed is appreciated. But this new card has 3 external wire cable connection. sow, what should I do, or do I just need to make 2 connectors just one, is it simple or just impossible?

    Help is required, thank you

Well for the RAM problem there are several possibilities - faulty stick(s), the chipset doesn't support 4GB of RAM, or your BIOS doesn't support 4 GB RAM. I think the chipset is not the problem here and If you think the stick(s) are fine you may need to uprgade your BIOS to the latest version. Though...I just check and the only available BIOS for you is 3.04. What version do you have?
Another possibility is that it's XPs fault, it's not a common thing but I guess it's possible. Maybe you'll need to reinstall XP..

For the wireless card - if you upgrade to the newer Intel card this might cause problems, I've seen a few threads here about that and it seem it's an incompatibility problem. I think I've never seen solution in any of those threads but I'm not sure. I'll try to find some of these threads for you.

    Well the bios, hmm..
System bios version 1,09 ..........Updated to 3,04
VGA bios version ver 1313 ----------------lefted, couldn;t find new update
Windows xp profesional version 2002 with service pack 2. ---------updated with service pack 3 and all other updates what could be possible where windows came up with.

The 2x2 gb still does not work=> gives dark screen after seen 10 seconds win xp pro start up..... But one new 2gb and one old 512 mb does work fine but need more for my photowork, windows is seeing 2,5 gb.

The interal wireless card, what I'm using now, 3945abg and do not want to work witn my new router Dlink DIR 655 b/g/n, and most funniest problem, when starting up the computer and see I have no router connection with any router, I just install software of an sitecom pcmia card, but hardware is not in it, and then the internal wireless card starts to work, but internet connection with my old robotics router 5461 a/b/g finally, but not with my new Dlink dir 655 router. Funny part is that its reconising the Dlink router but does want to connect, even not with the correct passwords etc. Pretty annoying could this because it has not an A in it? Otherwise I need to bring back the DIR 655 and buy an expensive dlink dir 855. (I do notice that my NAS station of Dlink loves to work with Dlink router, with my robotics its a disaster).
