    Is it safe to buy this model, with the recall going and all?

    I am worried about things going wrong with it. I have never owned Acer before, and I have actually heard allot of bad things about them, but this computer looks really great and uniqe.

    I think you mean the *4330 but after looking into the recall (considered this notebook as well) many people who own the 3810 in general have not experienced the problem and have opted to send it in once they see the problem arise

    I tried reading about it, but how can it only affect models before september 15? I was confused when I read the article on acer.com . Also because I was wondering if it was just for some of them or all of them... and if it was a lifetime recall or just for a few months?

    I pmed and spoke to a few 3810 owners and they told me they have not encountered these problems, but in all honesty I have strayed away for a while since Acer is releasing some new items on the 22nd

    You mean the 3810 in general or just the version with the ATI Radeon 4330?
