hi, all..just wonder if someone can help me please..

My acer 5720 has switched off the wlan somehow. ok, it went low on battery and auto switched it off..

Now, my problem is this. I dont know how or where to switch it back on. Usualy, the long way round i know, but id just do a system restore and it would come back on.

But im not very bright with computers, and have searched for hours for the easy steps to do it manualy. Can you help a newbie please.

    Thanks

I am not very informed about the acer specific options, however try this. Go to device manager > network adapters > (your wlan adapter name) > "right click" > properties > power management > uncheck the box that says "allow the system to power off this device" > restart the machine.

But before you do this make sure the Wlan switch on your computer is on
