I've installed a fresh copy of Windows XP (unnatended edition of XP + SP3 made by me) that was installed ok...
I started to install drivers but when I got to audio, NO SOUND devices were detected. The audio drivers installation went fine, but after reboot no audio device was found in Device Manager (it just lists "unknown device").
I tried to manually install the drivers but Windows installer does not find a valid driver within audio driver folder.
I assume this a SP3 problem because this did not happen using SP2.

Anyone has any clue about it? The notebook is an Acer Aspire 5520-5908

    thanks :(
