No idea if that will be compatible or not....it is for a TravelMate 2420

Search for a 9-cell battery with the Part No. BT.00903.007 ....

yes that should work....and is that 9-cell..?? that is a pretty good price.. :D

the code should be in the FRU (Field Replacement Unit)....for the aspire 3680
I was lookin' out for a 9-cell battery myself, so i knew the code..!!

there is a link in the 3680 sticky for the service manual....check out the FRU in it.. :)

Confirm from the guy if the battery is original, genuine Acer, otherwise I wouldn't advise you to buy it....

    ONLY BUY BATTERIES FROM ACER....

used batteries are for sale for a reason!
and generic batteries (even brandname batteries not from the LAPTOP maker) have a failure rate of over 75% from what i've read here and @ other sites...

i'd rather pay $100 for a battery with a warranty from the PC MANUFACTURER than take a chance on loosing $50 on a battery that plugs in and then does damage to your motherboard!!

that's my oppinion on laptop batteries... and 95% of all senior members who have seen the horrors of those generic batteries conterfitted in china that look just like the real ones (right down to the pattent #s printed on them) but they aren't made by the company printed on the battery... will agree with me!

i have a source for microsoft LED scroll mice, $225us for 100 count... sounds like a good deal or a real rip-off..... u be the judge...

    BUY LEGIT

Had that same problem looking up an Acer for a friend. Call the Acer 800 number and ask them for their battery supplier's number (also toll free) - apparently a different company. You can also Google the Acer battery model number to find third party suppliers.
