Hi thomassennorway. I have exactly the same problem. I installed XP, installed all the drivers, but there is still this annoying "pci memory controller" in the device manager!!! So did you fix it? Pls tell me how or is it just that turbo memory is not supported by XP?

10x bigspin. Installed the new drivers you offered, but "pci memory controller" is still in the device manager! :(
What is your OS: Vista or XP?
Is there anyone with XP and NOT having "pci memory controller" question mark in the device manager?
I should try the card reader as andyasselin suggested, but unfortunately I don't have a card of any sort.

    Hi Every body,
I have the same problem, I just purchased an Acer Aspire 5920G with initially Vista. I did a format and I am trying to install Windows XP Pro SP2. I found several drivers on Acer website... thanks alos to Incursis for your link. But I face the same problem with question mark "?" One for a "PCI Memory Controller" and another one for "Unknow device".
1/ Where to find the right drivers for Win XP pro and how to be sure ?
2/ Where to find the software compatible with Win XP such as "Acer Empowering technology" which seems to work only under Vista ?
    Thanks for your help....

    Hi, guys. Semi-good news!
I tried the card reader -> it's working properly so the only thing left must be the turbo memory... BUT i can't get the infrared working, so it possible to be the "PCI Memory Controller" question mark?!
laromag67, for the "Unknow device" I installed the drivers of the infrared, but as I mentioned above it's not working!
    Anybody? Comment?

it is 90% the turbo memory, which should be vista only, Ive got it too XP sp3.

Used to have vista 64bit, without any problems. and turbo mem ;)

pci is a memory dumper so its the turbo mem
    its part of the DMA
so the drivers may need to installed in an order(by device).
i will try and find what that order is :D

    Phil :D

EDit: there is an order the drivers should be installed.
PCI-DMA should be done before the network controllers (Ethernet/wifi cards).
and the grahics. why i don't know but im still researching :D

    just IGNORE IT!!!!

    it is the TURBO MEMORY

and to my knowledge there is no support for turbo memory in XP..
so you'll not find a driver... and with out some creative INF hacks... you're gonna have that pesky little yellow device....
