    partitioned hard drive

    i have an acer aspire 5100 and it is running on windows vista, however i want to put it onto windows xp prefessional, is this possible and how do i take the partition out of the hard drive?

    get a bootable XP disc....set the first boot priority to CD-ROM....boot from CD....format the vista partition using NTFS complete (not quick) format....and install XP..!!
