    hi!
I just bought, few days ago, a new Acer Aspire 5920G-6A4G25Mi.
    cpu: T5750 - 2ghz
    ram: 4gb ddr2
    vid: ATI Radeon 3650 - 512mb DDR2
    hdd: 250gb
    vista64 as OS

It runs well except the vidcard heats up too much.
idle about: 40-50, but when playing 3d games like gta4 it reaches 92-93 degrees celsius.
is it normal? won't this afect it's lifespan?
can the gpu be undervolted as i did with the cpu (by doing that, the cpu max temp decreased with ~10 degrees)?

    thanx

I guess most of the Acer 5920G have heat issues. Mine one has 9500M GS an it goes up to 90+C as well. I am not sure but maybe you will be able to undervolt the card by editing the bios. Go to techpowerup and download their Ati radeon bios editing tool

Actually I'd say 92-93 degree is ok for acer 5920G, but...if you really want to cool it down this is what I can recommend:
    1) Upgrade heatpad that transfers heat from your chip to copper sink (this will void warranty). 17 W/mK one is sold by mxm-upgrade store or cooler master masterpad pro - 14 W/mK.
    2) Undervolt + underclock using RBE and ATIWinFlash.
    3) Buy cooling pad for a whole laptop Zalman ZM-NC2000, 1000 or Cooler Master one.
