    I think the lcd inverter is what is causing my screen to show up black. Had water spill on just the screen. I tried to find a part number but nothing came up in the searches. Ive got it sitting here open since the warranty wont cover it and still none of the numbers on there come up. Its a 15.4in screen

    And where are the bulbs located ill assume top

    anyone got a link to the inverter

    Dunno about part number, but your backlight might be dead, too. Happened to me before. Just send back to service and let they handle it.

    if it is under warranty.... make acer fix it
