hi I have a Acer Predator 17 G9-793 and been using for almost a month now and the connector where you connect the HDD has broken, one of the wires inside has broke and the rest of the wires are exposed would it be best if I no longer use the laptop and get a new one or will it be fine?

I would not consider it to be safe - it's more of a danger to data integrity and the HDD itself than the rest of the hardware but still, that is not something you want to have.
It should be replaced or fixed. Can you post a photo?
