    I have an aspire 8930g.
recently my 5 button MS optical mouse began to die (aaaah), where it will stop working, but unplugging and replugging the usb brings it back to life for a bit longer.

My wife 'aquired' a 3 button ibm mouse, which works fine her IBM laptop, but when i plug that 1 in, it acts as if the left button is being held down/repeatedly clicked.

I have tried deleting all the old MS drivers before plugging.

The really worrying part is that i havent found anyone else having the same problem.
