Hey there guys, i bought my Aspire 9300 about 2 months ago. I tried to update my drivers for my graphics card and now i keep getting a nv4_mini.sys error everytime i try to view photos or films. I didnt make a backup disk which was a stupid idea lol. And i didnt recieve the vista disk with it. Is there any way in which i can put it back to factory settings with the above in mind ?

I love eRecovery and eUtilities. If only there was a way for the software to update automatically.

Once you have recovered your system, lesson #1:

Don't upgrade any drivers. You don't need this, and you gain nothing, unless there's a known problem. If you do have to upgrade a driver, do so with the official one from Acer, not from the card's manufacturer. There's no guarantee that the latest drivers directly from a manufacturer will work on your particular Acer. But like I said, it doesn't matter, because you're not really gaining anything anyway.

Don't screw around with what already works. There are plenty of other things to screw around with on computers.
