    Hi all

If I use Acer's eRecovery I understand that it effectively cleans everything off my hard drive except the hidden partition, but does it:

    1. Reinstall Windows XP (or do I have to do that manually)?
    2. Clear the registry?

    Thanks in advance

    Robert

eRecovery restores your laptop to the way it was before with all the bloatware, drivers, software, etc. that Acer pre-loaded in Windows XP when you first got your laptop.

In short, Acer's version of Windows XP and all their pre-loaded stuff.

It will also wipe out your hard drive and delete your data.

May wanna back it up 1st if you have anything important in there.
