As of right now there are no ACPI configs written for Acer (at least to my knowledge). I don't read German very well, but check their forums for more help in this matter. :D

from my experience not really. but i think it is very personal decision:
    NHC takes less memory
    NHC starts a bit faster
    ePower can disable the hardware
ePower integrates in the Windows Power Management System

all other things works in the same way...

I uninstalled ePower management pretty much right away.

What does it do that the built-in power management settings in XP don't? It seemed there was not much and the software is decidedly crappy. I mainly didn't like that switching from power to battery or vice versa _always_ either turns Bluetooth on or off. I want it to _leave_ Bluetooth alone, but it doesn't do that.

So what happens? I am using my GPRS connection via Bluetooth, notice I am running out of battery, plug in, and booom! My connection is gone. Dumb.

    Same thing for WiFi.

you can set both profiles to leave wifi and bt on...
so when you switch from one to another there are no changes...
