    Hi all!

My slimtype dvd-rw gives "beeping" noises before spinning up and sometimes after stopping. These are rather quiet, and can be compared to the sound what a floppy drive gives while accessing a disk. I read somewhere that this is normal with slim drives, and it's only a mechanic noise, but i'd like someone to confirm this from here :)
So should i worry, or not? :)

If it still works without issues it's nothing I guess. The DVD-RW drive in my PC humms a little when its working really hard but never had a problem.
