I just bought an Acer Aspire 5672 with the x1600 graphics card. I want to make sure all my drivers are updated but I don't know how to find out if they need to be updated or not. Anyone know how to find out if you need to update your drivers? thanks

    In general:

    1. windows update will search for that too
    2. go to acer site and look for any newer drivers (can check for your current version number under device properties)
    3. believe 1600 is an ATI card, so you can also go to the ATI site too for drivers.
    4. If you know who made that video card using the ATI chip, you can also go to the site of that manufacturer.
    5. last but not least, google it.... you can learn more here, including which driver is good or bad.

ATi's website doesn't have the drivers for mobility x1xxx. You'll have to get the video card drivers from Acer's website. But I personally prefer Omega Drivers for video cards.
