    HI!

    IM buy an Acer 5010z, . Processor T2080 core duo 1.73ghz, memory 1gb ddr2, HD 120GB Sata.

By default brings preinstaled Windows Vista Home Premium. And 3 partitions C: (Windows Vista) 60gb and D: (data) and d2d hidden recovery

The first thing that I did, was to make a backup since it is that does not come with the Cd drivers!.

Now i want to install xp but i have a questions of drivers..

On the backup dvd one folder name "Drivers" Some drivers are newest
    in compar with http://www.acerpanam.com/flex/acerdrivers/bin/drivers.html?CFID=3040921&CFTOKEN=97461557
    and ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_5610/

in the .readme im read some drivers(not all) are compatible with xp .

    But on ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_5610/vista/Drivers/
    is the same im backup.

Wich im install? the newest vista compatible with xp or the xp drivers?

Thanks and sorry my english :D

I would start by installing all the xp drivers, and if you have issues or can't find all the drivers you need, try the vista drivers. I have read posts where the vista drivers work well with xp on some Acer laptops.

Also, if you haven't formatted already, use partition magic and just format the vista (C drive) and the data (D drive) saving the hidden drive if you ever wish to format back to vista.

try the newests one first and see if they work, if not go to the older ones.
