    You mean the Fan???

Fan is meant to come on via Hardware. Not software controls (unless you want it to).

Do a stress test or play a game. Does the Fan come on then? (with also High Performance).

And more importantly, you neglected to burn a recovery DVD in case things went wrong OR the drivers & utilities disc using Acer's eRecovery software.
I'm afraid I can't assist you - this is the first time I've heard this happening.

    Cooler ?

An after-market external Cooler or the Heat-sink Fan ??

Hey do not shoot the man .. :D

Install the ACER launch manager , and you will gain control over the fan.

The Launch Manager controls the fan? How so?
And would it be able to crank the fan up to 100% constantly?

Naw. LM does not control the Fan. Fan speed/RPM cannot be controlled at the software level in notebooks.

Does this looks to you like an helicopter ..

Andy , i had notice that your suggestions , had very poor value lately .

This is not a race in honesty , but you do not have the right to say what ever it comes to your head.

Now THAT is interesting - I didn't have that option in my eSettings application.
Not that it matters - undervolting my CPU has kept my system cooler than the fan on full ever did.
