    How do i clean up all the garbage files and programs that came with my acer aspire 5100?

    they're all listed in the add/remove programs list; anything you dont want can be removed from there :)

    The only acer program that you really need is acer's launch manager. All other acer utilities can be removed.

    i especially like to get rid of acer performance management as it tries to defrag your hard drive in the background and can cause some lag just as you start to do something as it has to stop the defrag process.
