    camera doesnot work on 5672, Please help!

    I bought my Aspire 5672 a few weeks ago. The performance has been perfect until yesterday the orbicam refused to work. I have updated the drive from Acer's website and it did not help. When I ran the application software to test, there is nothing but white in the window. Anyone has idea how to fix it? Or is it a hardware problem? Thanks!

    I had similar problem with 8204 - now it's gone, after my latest system reinstallation... I've tried to reinstall driver with and without acer software before, but there was no effect. I could get the webcam working more or less stable in Skype with only the driver installed. I made the system reinstallation before, using the same recovery DVD, but it didn't help. Then, I reinstalled XP couple of days ago and suddenly it works how it always should! I don't know how to explain it...
