    Hello,

I am currently having a problem with my Extensa 5620 laptop.

When the laptop is loading it goes past the Vista loading screen and then a black screen appears with just the mouse icon and the same thing happened in Safe Mode.

I have had various problems with my laptop recently with random freezing(especially when starting up Firefox) so it resulted to rapid restarting.

I have tried a few spyware and anti-virus programs and I have Bitdefender 2009 Total Security and it also picked up nothing.

Anyway the main problem is the loading so I think the excessive restarting may have done something to the hdd.

Anyone know what the problem is and solutions? If more information is needed let me know.

    Thanks.
