    hi to all


    these days i notice that my acer extensa sometimes make beep sounds..its not so often and frequent but forexample once a day.its two short beep sounds.there is no sing of malfunction and everthing works properly.why does it make those sounds?any idea?tnx.

    i have experienced beep sounds (i have a 8204) ... though its hard to describe. for example, when the room is quiet and all i hear is the soft hum of the laptop, i will hear almost faint electronic noise emitting from the inside of the laptop as i hit keys on the keyboard. again it is not a loud noise, but you will notice it if you pay attention and if it is quiet enough........

    not sure if they are the same beep sounds you hear. but maybe some others can give some input??

    those beeeps are not emiited from ur speakers and they r from ur hard disk which is quite normal..the sounds that my laptop makes comes from my laptop.two loud short beeps..what can this beeps be?any idea?tnx

    sorry for thread jacking but i have a simular problem. When ever i start up my laptop, at the acer screen my computer beeps pretty damn loud. This doesnt happen everytime but it does now and then... I get about 10-15 beeps then it starts up regularly.
