    hi All

I've got a Aspire 9510 and want to upgrade the hard drive, will I have any compatibility issues if I install a couple of Western digital scorpio blue 320Gb (or 500Gb) drives? I think it should be OK but want to make sure before parting with any money.

    Thanks
    DrMick

after a bit of research it seems that the aspire 9510 has sata 1 and the WD scorpio blue drives and sata 2. will they be backwards compatable? or do I have to find some drives that are sata 1?

Sata is compatable accross all revisions.
