    aspire 1690 system disc

    hi, does anyone have a system recovery disc for this notebook?

    we have the three recovery discs that came with it but not the bootable system disc which presumably has the specific drivers/utilities.

    rightly or wrongly have managed to get the system back up and running again using a system disc from my travelmate 4600 and all drivers are correct and all seems well but i should really give my mate the right disc if it exists.

    if anyone has such a disc, then i would be interested to hear from you.

    You have a vaild Windows license, nothing wrong about it. I am sure Acer would send one for a fee.

    the notebook is second hand... worth a call tho.
