    acer users , how du u update your radeon drivers ?

    when i try to install the drivers i found on amd website for my radeon 6550 , it's giving me "incompatible hardware" , so my only option is to try the drivers from acer website , which might be relatively old
    so is anyone facing this problem ?

    I have another thread running, but hope I can just jump in here.

    Can anyone run the current ATI installer on a Windows 7 64-bit fully updated machine. I can install the drivers (or bits of them anyway) manually, but get an application crash on the Catalyst installer.

    This even happens on the installer for the drivers on the Acer site for my 5536.
