No USB on the three inputs, all three have the 2 volts and in the device manager all are indicated as OK, however on plugging in an device, (IN THIS CASE A MOUSE) there is no "new hardware found" sign in task bar I have checked every driver in device panel for update driver and it allways states drivers up to date. OS is windows XP Home edition SP3. Have checked that the networking services check box has selected the univesal plug and play, help please. With thanks

same problem has occurred on my laptop this week. Voltage is in the ports but they don't detect any peripherals are plunged in. I have tried to reinstall the drivers with no luck the next step is to reinstall the OS which I am not keen to do yet.

    does anyone have any ideas?
