    acer travelmate 2420 issue

    i got an acer travelmate 2420, when the computet trys to start up it shows ntld4 is missing. is there anyway to fix this? and if theres not, i dont have recoverys but i found a set of travelmate 290 series will they work on my travelmate? thanks

    I'm assuming you mean ntldr?
    You can fix this with an XP CD, you need to get to recovery console and type in fixboot and fixmbr and that should resolve this.
