I looked over the forum a bit, and did not really find a good place to post this question. So I decided to post a new thread. If this bothers any of the moderators, I am sorry, and I hope that you would move this post to the right place as soon as you can.

Anyways my question is. How is the hinge durrabiltiy on the Extensa 4420? I looked at the specs and it said that it had hinge life, and I am not sure what that means. I am generally very nice to my laptop, and do not slam the lid closed, I close it very gently, and softly. Also, I open it very gentally. Though some times I have smacked my lid, on accident. I would go to reach something, and accidently end up smacking it. So I was just wondering how often the hinges typically last on the Extensa 4420. Thank you all for your answers in advance, I hope you all can help me, and I would really appriciate it.

Though other than that. For the people wondering on how good this computer is. I really really enjoy it. It seems sturdy when I move it, everything works great. The touchpad does not seem to wear out as fast as other computers. Also, it has GREAT specs for the price of the laptop. Its better than some high end laptops, better than both my friends, which have HP laptops. Anyways, I hope that helps someone.
