This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    acer aapire 5532 problem with webcam not working

    Does anyone no how to fix this problem I went on the website downloaded all the files for the camera drivers and still din't resolve the problem. I am thinking its a hardware issue or registry problem. I just need a website so I can fix thisissue.

    Does the webcam not work or is it the Acer webcam application that has stopped working?
    Here I have 2 reasonably current Acer machines on W7 and Vista and both of these work fine on Skype, but the Acer webcam software stopped working ages ago (after a Microsoft update?) and downloading replacement drivers hasn't helped.
