White cursor in the top left part of the screen is already Windows so it's probably a Windows issue- try F8 at startup to see if you can access more options- if not reinstall or recover Windows (after you’ve backed up your data that is)

Welcome to the forums, chris! Sorry to hear things are kerschmorgled with your 6920G (slick little system, isn't it?).

Try booting from a CD, DVD, or USB key, just to rule out any major hardware failure. Something like Ubuntu, Knoppix, or Linux Mint would be perfect.
From there, I'd look for a disk diagnostic program that doesn't require a boot into Windows - either on a live disc or part of the above three Linux distributions. That'd help figure out if the hard drive's gone pear-shaped.
If the hard drive shows no issues, then it's a Windows problem; bust out the Acer recovery DVDs and get your C: back to normal.

    Most probably Operating system issue...

    Fresh install should solve it...

    Cheers
