    it has a ati radeon x1200 series , i tryed hooking up to tv and nothing show just some static real quick and gone !i bought the conector for the back of laptop then ran to s-video and nothing ? can it do it or not ??

    do you have an ATI control panel app - check that.

    I tryed the control panel and it doesent do much its not set up like my nvidia card in my desktop ! i hook up the adapter to the back of the laptop and s-video to the tv the control panel isnt recognizing the tv as a second screen ?
    the graphics card is a hd4800 they say it a pretty good card but i just cant get it to pick up the tv??? :confused:
