    i have acer aspire 5315 ilc50 notebook

    i wont to change my hard disk because actual disk have bad sectors but i don't know if my notebook support SATA II 3gb/s i wont to buy Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD2500BEVT 250GB, 5400rpm, 8 MB, SATA 2 ...
    I don't find any information about the SATA harddisk in the user manual

    the actual hard disk st9120822as (i read the documentation from seagate and yes the st9120822as it's sata I 1.5gb/s)

    so pls tell me if i can put a sata2 and 250gb in my notebook

    For all I know SATA II HDD will work fine even when connected to SATA I-capable computer.
